The Studio
Two creators. One standard for the frame.
Efficiency Visuals was founded by Austen Johnson and Shemmy. The studio makes photography and film for people who want the work to feel cinematic, precise, and lasting.
A project starts with the story, then the direction: locations, mood, and what the pictures need to do. On set, stills and motion are captured together when the job calls for both. Editing, color, and delivery are part of the same standard.
The studio is based between Sacramento and Los Angeles and travels when the project needs it.

Before you book.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks ahead for standard sessions and 4–8 weeks for full productions or events, to secure your date and allow proper creative planning. Rush bookings are available on request.
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes. We're based in California and travel nationwide and internationally for the right projects. Travel is quoted per engagement.
What's your turnaround time?
Turnaround ranges from same-week (Elite) to 5 business days (Starter). Every package lists its delivery window, and rush editing is available as an add-on.
Do you offer both photo and video?
Absolutely — it's our specialty. Many clients book both together for a complete campaign, and our packages are built to combine seamlessly.
How do payments and deposits work?
A deposit secures your date, with the balance due on delivery. We accept all major cards and digital payments through a secure checkout.
